$50 rebate on Garmin Forerunner 405 or 405CX

Garmin is offering a $50 rebate (PDF) on their popular Forerunner® 405 sports watch (and the newer 405CX) from May 1 to June 30, 2009 (postmark deadline is July 15, 2009).

The Garmin Forerunner 405 (review link) is a perennial favorite on our top ten GPS lists.

As with any rebate, read all of the fine print, but here are some of the caveats from the PDF:

Purchase a qualifying black or green Garmin Forerunner® 405 or a qualifying blue Forerunner 405CX watch between 05/01/09 and 06/30/09. The product must be purchased in factory-new condition. Purchases from Best Buy do not qualify for this offer. Purchases made through online auctions, excluding direct purchases from authorized dealers, are not eligible. eBay® purchases only valid if purchase is made from an authorized Garmin dealer. Refurbished or newly overhauled products do not qualify for the rebate.
