Ok folks, this one may be a fluke, but it’s worth a try. Eastern Mountain Sports (EMS) has brought back their Black Friday pricing on GPS receivers. Sort of. What they are saying is that everything is 20-30% off today, but that Garmin units are excluded. Yet if you look at their GPS page, they’ve got some great deals on Garmin units. 48 hour GPS sale at Amazon — 10% off coupon code

Amazon has a 48 hour GPS sale running thru 11:59 p.m Pacific time, December 17. Follow that link and use the coupon code 48HRSGPS. There’s a wide range of units, but as of this morning, the best deals were the Magellans, the DeLorme PN-60, the nuvi 1350T and the TomTom XXL 540TM World Traveler Edition. The selection may change before it’s over though.

REI.com has gotten a jump on everybody else by starting their Winter Sale today, a week ahead of Black Friday. The sale runs through Cyber Monday, November 29 (or while supplies last),  and members get free shipping on orders of $75 and up. Listed below are their GPS deals for this event.
