This is a great deal on an excellent entry level handheld GPS. I recommend this as a low-cost starter unit more often than I do any other. The next lowest price I’ve seen is $115, and I haven’t seen that in a couple of months.

UPDATE 2: I haven’t seen it again, so I’m moving this to the “expired deals” category. That doesn’t mean it won’t show up again though, so you might want to keep checking.
UPDATE: This deal has attracted a lot of attention, along with some frustration because it’s so hard to catch Amazon when the deal is available. The best way that I can suggest to follow it is to sign up on Groundspeak and subscribe to the following threads for instant email delivery:

People are tending to post as soon as they see it available again. It would also be good to read and see how people have missed the deal. It will also show you some history on the frequency of the deal, which first showed up around Christmas, and has come back a few times in the past week.
This is an incredible on-again, off-again deal that has been showing up sporadically for the past week or so, and I’m inclined to just leave it posted. So if it’s not there, keep checking the page occasionally.
The 60CSx is quite possibly the most popular consumer handheld GPS on the market, the standard by which all others are measured.

This is $30 lower than the best price we’ve seen on this non-traffic unit. Very similar to the deal that we posted yesterday on the Navigon 2200T, it’s at Amazon, but you’ll need to use third-party provider J&R to get the deal. And just like yesterday, it’s listed as a “deal of the day,” but we wouldn’t be surprised to see the deal stay posted for longer. Still, if you want it at this price, it’s best to act today (Saturday).
