Amazon has the Garmin Legend H Handheld GPS Navigator on sale for $89. This is a great deal on an entry level handheld Garmin. The Legend H includes 24MB of memory for maps, like the free (and legal) ones you can get at GPS File Depot. There’s no formal expiration date, so we don’t know how long the deal will last. The monochrome Legend H is ideal for someone into backcountry navigation. For the geocacher, I’d suggest the eTrex 10 instead, which offers paperless geocaching as an added feature.
