I find it more likely that the drawing was indeed random and that after reading the post, and finding it articulate and polished and (more importantly) a positive reflection on the website, then decided to include it in the announcement proclaiming the winner. If my post had been “ENTER ME I WANNA WIN!,” then I believe it simply would not have been included.
